Le Jardin Closes

Sadly, after seven years of operation, the members of the Le Jardin Co-operative have decided to close the daycare.  Following the December announcement by the Ontario Government that they plan to change the rules surrounding unlicensed daycares, a review of the current and proposed legislation revealed that the co-operative model upon which Le Jardin was founded would not be viable in our current space.  The current members of Le Jardin would like to thank all of the past members for their effort and dedication to making the Le Jardin an enriching experience for all the children.  Most of all, we thank our ECE, Lana, for her caring, guidance, and love that she gave every child and parent.

Come Join the Fun! Whether around the sandbox, at the park, or walking through the woods, Le Jardin offers children and families the chance to learn and laugh through play! The daycare features plenty of outdoor time, themed programming designed by our gifted early childhood educator and the chance to be involved in your child’s care.  The daycare has two full-time spaces available for November 2013 with the possibility to begin immediately. Summer is here!

Summer has arrived!  There is lots to do as the temperature rises. At Le Jardin we are busy watching the birds fly and plants grow! Pretty fun times! Wishing everyone a happy, safe and fun summer.

Snow is falling!

Winter is here… and so are the good times!! Wishing everyone a very happy new year. Hopefully everyone has a chance to escape the drudgery of everyday life and play in the snow! C’mon!

Autumn Awesomeness @ Le Jardin

Sand Box Glory and Openings for September 2012

Summer weather is upon us! We are busy visiting the local parks splash pads – yes, they are now turned on! Playing in our water table, having picnic snacks and of course – building castles and burying treasure (all while learning to share the space) in the Le Jardin sandbox.

Its that time of year! We have some 4 year old children graduating this fall and are now accepting applications for September 2012 spots (full and part time available). If you are interested in being involved in your child’s care outside of the home, please email us for a handbook to learn more about this great opportunity.
